Samuel Weber is Avalon Foundation Professor of the Humanities at Northwestern University and director of its Paris Program in Critical Theory. He is a founding editor of the Electronic Mediations series at the University of Minnesota Press.
Laurence A. Rickels is professor of German literature at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he also teaches art and film studies. He is the author of Aberrations of Mourning (1988) and The Case of California (1991), and editor of Acting Out in Groups (Minnesota, 1999--see page 26).
Bernhard Siegert is a Research Scholar at the Zentrum für Literaturforschung, Berlin. He is co-editor, with Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht and Friedrich Kittler, of Der Dichter als Kommandant: D'Annunzio erobert Fiume.
