Cornell Series on Land: New Perspectives on Territory, Development, and Environment
Land is fundamental. Societies are shaped by the control of, access to, and use of land. Books in this series exhibit a concern with the dynamics of life on the land, particularly as expressed though relations of environment, territoriality, and development. The key premise is that all three are intimately connected. We welcome submissions addressing all historical periods and employing a variety of regional, interdisciplinary, and theoretical foci and approaches.
