Barbara Owen, an active lecturer, teacher,
recitalist, and organ consultant, is Librarian of the Organ Library at
Boston University and author of The Organ in New England, E. Power Biggs: Concert Organist, and articles in the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians and many organ journals. She is also co-author (with Peter Williams) of The Organ.
Matthew Dirst is a professor of music at the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston. He is the author of Engaging Bach: The Keyboard Legacy from Marpurg to Mendelssohn.
Michael Broyles is Professor of Music at Florida State University and former Distinguished Professor of Music and Professor of American History at Pennsylvania State University. His most recent book, Leo Ornstein: Modernist Dilemmas, Personal Choices (IUP, 2007), written with Denise Von Glahn, won the Irving Lowens Prize in 2007.
