John A. Coleman

John A. Coleman, SJ, is associate pastor at St. Ignatius Church in San Francisco and a Jesuit from the Province of California. He was formerly the Charles Casassa Professor of Social Values at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and professor at the Jesuit School of Theology and the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. He is the editor of Christian Political Ethics (Princeton University Press, 2007), Globalization and Catholic Social Thought: Present Crisis, Future Hope (Orbis, 2005), and One Hundred Years of Catholic Social Thought: Celebration and Challenge (Orbis, 1991).
